Hey Amy,
Sorry for your pain when you reach those times, but then you seem to always find the strength to turn it around and you motivate others without realizing it. Call me

Amy, you are doing a great job and I am sure you will continue to do so. It all works out. I know that you have faith, just keep it going. Life throws us curve balls, as we both know. You just have to keep moving forward! Love ya!!

Hey Amy,

I was just reading this blog and thought....this would definitely be me if my husband was gone a lot! Anyway, hang in there girl. I know it MUST be frustrating!

Coupla things that I thought I would comment on..being a mom of 2 boys 18 months apart and under the age of 6 that if I didn't love them so much I would literally sell them to the gypsies. LOL

Logan wasn't potty trained at night until about 4 1/2 almost 5 either. This is what we (I say we, my husband really did this so maybe you wait another 11 weeks and let Rick help) anyway, we limited water at night before bed (nothing after dinner) then we also made him wear undies and we woke him up once or twice before we went to bed. Sometimes yes he was wet in the morning, but it eventually worked. The pull ups are a catch 22. They keep them somewhat dry but that's the problem b/c they don't feel they are wet in time. Try undies at night. I'm still working on Cole and wouldn't have him potty trained at all if he wasn't in school. He's 3.5 almost 4. He still wets himself if I don't prompt him to go potty and he's not night trained at all yet. One step at a time. Hope that helps!

My boys do the demanding thing too. It's irritating. I found once I get into a routine they are ok and that helps more. If we are out of a routine at home then they tend to irritate me more! So, like after school (the bewitching hours) I get them to the potty (Cole), Logan changes into 'little pants' (b/c he hates wearing long pants all day) then they watch some TV until dinner and play. It's basically a routine they've made themselves, but it helps. Also, I find if I'm on the computer (a major habit of mine....almost an addiction I think at times) they are more irritating b/c they are interrupting me 8 thousand times. I try to pay attention to them before I get on the computer (although that doesn't always happen unfortunately)

I know when you are tired, depressed and feel bad about yourself it's hard to have energy for them and to get through the irritating stuff. I really don't have a great answer for how to deal with it, but I feel your pain! I just had another baby 8 weeks ago. I can say for the 10 months before having her and then the last 8 weeks has probably been one of the toughest years of my life. Energy being zapped and feeling 'really' fat all the time is not a fun way to live. blah! And I also need to get back on a diet so I don't gain a bunch of weight back. BTW -- I love BL too! Great show! :) And Dr. Phil is my hero (not so much Oprah...too liberal for me! lol)

talk to you later!

Amy,

I just happened onto your blog through the local freecycle. I love coupons, but was more fascinated by your blog. I also have a 6 yr. old, and a 4 yr. old, and a 20mo. old. I feel your pain about appreciation! Sometimes motherhood is a lonely painful business isn't it. I really do love the one of well thought out meals that "don't look good enough to eat." I tell my kids often that I am unfortunately NOT a short order chef, nor are they at a restaurant, nor is everything going to be a favorite. I don't think THEY appreciate that!

How far will you travel to deliver a baby and are you able to deliver a baby who is born to a woman with a negative blood type (A-) who has been impregnated by a spouse who has a positive blood type (O+)?

Other than RH factor injections, are there any other precautions that need to be dealt with, or is it pretty normal after that?

Reading your blog brought tears to my eyes. It is hard at times... ok maybe all the time! And the ticket thing... It happened to me to.... But I was "speeding" and on the back window of my car it said "My Daddy is fighting for your freedom" ( By my kids) and the cop said to me " nice saying but it would really suck if you wernt here when he got home!" in a very mean way i might add! along with a $135 ticket! And yes all my kids were in the car, so they heard!
It is so funny reading your blog other than crying... I think yep been there... yep did that... Hey my oldest (twins) were born on my hubbys birthday too! The gym thing! LOL! anyways... love your blog! Blessings, Jennifer
